Since J.A.C.I.M.'s various game mechanic equations are all nearly finished, a programmer will soon be sought out to link it all together through overlapping game language code. Leading to a alpha version in the near future. [6-7-19] A recent conversation with a close friend of mine unearthed a sudden urge for nostalgia. Prompting me into replaying some greatest games I've ever played, and found satisfying. True enough I have a long list of unknown games which have yet be explored, let alone finished. Maybe an endless remaining discontent feeling that had been left after so many unfinished new releases attempting to pass themselves off as complete products. Or worse, more and more seem to be burned to a crisp of their former selves from an onset of various censorship from their original forms. Whether it be during the initial creation or after release. Never the less, most new games just lack what their former predecessor superior project products were able to provide through experience. Here are some on my list that I've been replaying. ) Resident Evil (2002) *gamecube* ) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003) {Mods+} ) Koudelka (1999) ) Killer 7 (2005) ) Siren (2003) ) Dhux's Scar (2009) ) BioShock (2007) ) Europa Universalis III (2007?) {Mods+} ) Victoria II (2010) {Mods+} Those still to be played, which are at the top of my list. Perhaps they'll remind me why they remain so bold despite future remakes, sequels, re-imagining, etc.) Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (2004) {Mods+} ) STALKER: Call of Pripyat (2010) {Mods+} ) SCP - Containment Breach (2012) ) Silent Hill 2 (2001) ) System Shock 2 (1999) {Mods+} ) Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (2009) ) White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (2001) ) Fallout 2 (1998) {Mods+} ) Darkest Hour: A Hearts of Iron Game (2011) {Mods+} I have another 71 games with a {8-9/10} ranking that I felt would be rather overwhelming to place here, this time around. It should prove interesting to compare the newer with the older.

Sigh, I couldn't sleep last night. At around 1am, remained awake until 4am, as there was a lot on my mind. One thought screamed the loud, it was, "Conflict", and how JACIM's Layer 0 will handle this human behavior. Yet it seems impossible, at this time, unless they are starving and then will rise up to violence. It can't be a choice by Individuals, Groups, nor Nations since the game mechanics including image & reputation, memory, experience, ideology; moral values, and habits. Aren't there yet, nor can be implemented in a timely manner, so... these AI Player controlled individual JACIM humans won't change their behavior towards the murders, kidnappers, thieves, blackmailers, stalkers, rapists, rebels, overall criminality, plus even the slavers won't be halted. Since the people can't figure out they require to change their ways to survive. Until Layer One, this won't be possible. So the first installment will mainly contend with politics, economics, research, foreign policy, immigration, government stability, taxes, economic regulation, genetics, land development, and such. |
